New Artists

This class is for ages 5-7 years of age.  Designed to teach young students how to use basic materials and media in the art world, and how to see objects as they are so they can learn to represent them in their artwork with pride and confidence.   Each week students will work with a different media and take home a completed piece of artwork. Materials are provided.

Young Artists .

This class is for ages 8 to adults seeking to learn more about art styles, methods, and techniques. Each session will have new subject matter in learning to “See” what you wish to represent in your drawing or painting! Students will learn to use form, movement, balance and tonal values in developing their overall composition, as well as have opportunity to experience many different forms of expression in different media - watercolor, artist acrylic (oil), colored pencil, oil pastel, etc. Students will have completed artwork to take home each week.

Focus Classes - 3 Media - 3 Wednesdays - 90 minutes! $29.00 each  ($70.00/3)

Take one class or take all three, each month the focus is on a new subject matter and will teach the student how to represent each subject in the individual media.  Introductory classes are helpful but not required. Appropriate for ages 11 to adult, beginner to advanced.  Focus classes are small and much attention is given to each student's process and achievement. Email for supply list.
